Noordhoek art point news
What a busy July weekend here at 16 Noordhoek Main Road. It kicked off with our website shoot by ICapture Solutions on Friday evening. The four partners were privvy to the workings of this talented camera duo, Melanie and Mark, who took great care to capture the magic of our little gallery on film as it were.

Saturday dawned on a delicious cupcake sale by Noordhoek Pony Club alongside our art pack initiative for #67minutes for Mandela Day. Both were a roaring success. We’ve learnt a few things and next year we’ll bring our A-game to this one. The Noordhoek Pony Club sold 215 yummy cupcakes and raised just over R2150 for Cupcakes of Hope. Well done! It was so fantastic having you at the gallery for the morning.

Thanks to our donors, we far surpassed our target of 67 art packs to be donated to Ukhanyo Primary School. With the surplus donations, we will be adding in reams of paper to ensure the kids can keep creating art for months to come. Candice Dobson-Noakes, author of A Little Horse called Pancakes Book Collection also donated 67 copies of this sweet local story for our art packs. Thank you all for your generosity!

Organic Point solar panels

Organic Point had their solar panels installed and are now totally off the grid and making solar-powered coffee!

We met so many amazing art lovers all through the weekend. We love chatting to our visitors and learning what pieces in the gallery they like.

The guys from Pergola South Africa installed a lovely pergola complete with solar-powered fairy lights ready for the many events we have up our sleeves.

What a weekend! A sign of the exciting things to come.
